GETTING TO KNOW YOU
As your personal trainer, getting to know you is the first step in designing your fitness plan.  I will look at your health history, your current or past injuries and/or surgeries, health issues, any medications and/or supplements you are taking, etc. I will also look at your exercise history, current exercise level, goals, schedule, etc. If you have never lifted weights or have never really exercised, you are not alone, most the of people I work with are beginners,

A TYPICAL PERSONAL TRAINING SESSION WITH KARI
A personal training session consists of a warm up (done just before your training session), then an assortment of weight training exercises and stretching exercises for your entire body. I will demonstrate each exercise and teach you  proper form using  appropriate weights to achieve maximum benefit and reduce injury, provide you with  guidelines as to when and
how to increase the amount of weight used and the number of sets and reps to perform.  When we work together on an ongoing basis, new exercises and routines are added and changed for variety, progress and fun. 


EQUIPMENT USED

Your weight lifting program will include a variety of equipment, such as dumbbells, free weights, exercise bands, exercise balls, weight machines, etc.  If you only have access to certain types of equipment, your program will take that into consideration.


IN-HOME WEIGHT TRAINING PROGRAMS

If you prefer to do your workout at home, personalized in home weight training programs can also be designed using basic equipment such as free weights, dumbbells, exercise bands, etc. I will help you determine what you need and/or how to use the equipment you have then design an effective in home workout program.


LOCATION

I am conveniently located in the Wayzata and Minnetonka areas at the intersections of  County Road 101 and Minnetonka Blvd (across the street from Lakewinds Co-op)


PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS

I offer 30, 45 or 60 minute one-on-one personal training sessions.

As your personal trainer, my goal is to help you improve your health and your strength. Some individuals just want a personalized fitness program, others need more ongoing instruction, guidance support and/or motivation. Therefore I offer single sessions or short renewable packages. If unsure, together we will determine what will be the most beneficial for your progress.
